Thanks for the confirmation! Could you check if lowering the resolution to 2560 x 1080 or enabling V-Sync and capping the frame rate to 60 FPS improves the smoothness? That will tell me if the non-smooth frametime is caused by the increased latency and bandwidth of outputting at 3440x1440, or if it is an issue with the synchronization loop that can be easily patched. I have a clue with the logs but visual confirmation would be faster. |

Cyberpunk 2077 runs at a much lower base framerate (50fps in the scene I linked) and zero frames are being skipped there according to the MGPU tab in ReShade, so it's definitely just high load on my 5060ti (it was hitting 100% usage when I was playing Horizon Forbidden West at 3440x1440 @ 110-130 fps). You are right to be concerned about PCIe bottleneck. I've done quite a bit of testing and research (I originally used my dual GPUs for Lossless Scaling Frame Generation) and it shouldn't be the problem because I'm running PCIe 4.0 x8 on BOTH of my cards. In fact, I am able to transfer hundreds of frames per second at 3440x1440 10-bit SDR so as far as I understand, we are well clear of that bottleneck Lossless Scaling community (mostly on Discord) has done a ton of research into GPU frame passthrough: https://www.reddit.com/r/losslessscaling/comments/1jtaoau/official_dual_gpu_overview_guide/ According to that guide:

Hi @salient-cyanocitta ! What if you test the opposite, executing DLSS 5 on the 4080 with the compatible dll file? Just curious if it could work too! (Maybe you could resucite an old 2060, for example, and use it for DLSS 5 execution). |

Guess what? I GOT IT WORKING. I used the (presumably original) dlssnr dll files directly from this source on Reddit.

I will say that my 5060ti is getting maxed out. My game is running at 110-130fps and the output does not appear to be as smooth, albeit I am at 3440x1440 resolution.
Previously when it was not working I was using the DLSSNR dll files from an OptiScaler bundle which I presume was modded. I also used the Reshade.ini that you linked for me.
Thank you for your work! When DLSS 5 came out I was already thinking about how dual GPU setups could be a boon. Good to see somebody implement it in reality. Now to wait for adoption by software like OptiScaler...
