Tile Pack Usage #844

Implementing offline maps has gone pretty smoothly. However, I'm wondering if there is a reason the SDK doesn't expose a method that provides tile pack usage.
It's my understanding that each user is limited to 750 tile packs. I also understand that when a new region is loaded, but the tile pack limit is already reached, the new region will fail to download. I would like to be able to show users how much offline mapping they have used / is available.
Is this a reasonable request? Or am I thinking about this all wrong?
