Technical Writing Skills

As an organized, focused, proactive, creative, and detail-oriented individual, I have a proven record of meeting deadlines and maintaining the communication chain to ensure that projects run smoothly. I have written and edited numerous technical documents, including:

  • User manuals.
  • Developer guides.
  • Integration guides.
  • How to guides
  • Troubleshooting guides.
  • Installation guides.
  • Source code documentation.
  • API documentation

In addition, I believe in my varied skills in designing doc sites using (Mkdocs, Markdown, Docsify, Readme, Gitbook, Atlassian Confluence, Open API Spec and Asciidoc) and experience in open source technical writing / Software development would make me a great fit for this position.

I have worked as a documentation developer contracted to plan, develop, and design software documentations from scratch using Eleventy, Javascript, Python, Rapidoc, and Algolia search. I focused primarily on document changes to ensure the electronic documentation was edited to reflect each software update. In addition, I coordinated projects with the executive team to ensure every task was completed and meetings went smoothly. As a result, I improved the turnaround time by an average of 5 working days for each update.

Azure Functions: A Beginner’s Guide to Serverless Computing with Visual Studio Code

[Publication](https://www.mdpi.com/1424-8220/22/11/4240

Azure Functions, a powerful serverless computing service provided by Microsoft Azure, offers an ideal solution for building and running applications in the cloud. This beginner-friendly guide will walk you through what Azure Functions is, its applications, and why it may be a preferred choice over Azure Apps. Furthermore, we will provide a step-by-step process for creating Azure Functions (using Visual Studio Code), deploying them to the Azure cloud, as well as how to troubleshoot and resolve top 5 most common issues cloud developers often encounter in this process.

Navigating the World of CI with GitHub Actions

Publication

The Unicorn Engine repository maintainers had a specific request: to create a CI workflow that would automatically attach builds to releases. This request was my introduction to GitHub Actions. While I had read about it in the past, I had never delved into it. To say that I had “cold feet” is an understatement; I was diving headfirst into uncharted territory.
