BBS Manager is now available in the Apple App Store. This is an optional product that lets you easily manage your Borg Backup Server from your phone. It includes native push notifications telling you about the status of your server and if there are failed backups. You can also enable other backup notices like Backup Complete or a Scheduled Backup was Missed.

Please make sure you update to the latest version of Borg Backup Server.

The BBS Manager is a convenient companion app and is not required in order to operate Borg Backup Server. BBS Manager requires a $3.99 monthly fee to use after a 7-day free trial. The subscription covers all your devices under your Apple Account plus anyone in your Family using Subscription Sharing. The $3.99 fee helps the development of this product and on-going infrastructure costs. I appreciate your support!

To enable notifications, you must register your Borg Backup Server with the push notification server. Nothing is kept in the push notification server, it's only a relay for the messages to Apple's Push Notification Service.

Go to Settings -> Push Service and enable push notifications:

On the App, you'll need to enable push notifications: Click the Upper Right Account Icon -> Profile -> Notifications (under Account), then Enable Push Notifications.

Yes, since this is built with React Native, an android version is not far behind. Apple rejected this 7 times before approval. It was not fun. Hoping to work out any kinks, then I'll focus attention on the Android one.
