A GB rom and a set of firmwares for Raspberry Pi Pico W to stream and play audio on Game Boy Color (CGB).
The audio playback is largely based on jbshelton's GBAudioPlayer. The bluetooth A2DP sink is largely based on joba-1's PicoW_A2DP, itself based on pico-sdk and btstack example.
Requires pico-sdk (tested with 2.0.0) and rgbds (tested with 0.8.0).
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -DPICO_SDK_PATH=/path/to/pico-sdk ..
make
Playback rate is determined dynamically from the ROM capabilities.
Add -DDISABLE_DOUBLE_SPEED=1 to the cmake command if you prefer to disable double-speed mode in the Game Boy Color rom.
Playback encoding is determined dynamically from the ROM capabilities.
Add -DDISABLE_HQ_ENCODING=1 to the cmake command if you prefer to disable high-quality encoding in the Game Boy Color rom.
Firmware player_usb (audio interface) requires tinyusb >=0.19.0 --> checkout tag 0.19.0 in ${PICO_SDK_PATH}$/lib/tinyusb.
