Browser freezes when clicking on the codemirror textarea

I do not know why it crashes the browser when I click on the Codemirror textarea?!

Can you provide a demo that I can run on my side? It's hard to debug a page that I don't control.

Oh, never mind that, I seem to have managed to rip a working reproduction from your link.

The problem is that the Deck css files are overriding a bunch of styles that CodeMirror needs. In this case, the padding on the .CodeMirror-scroll element is overridden by the .deck-container div rule which, for some silly reason, kills the padding on all divs.

The CodeMirror deck plugin was written for version 2 of CodeMirror, and doesn't seem to work for version 3 (yet).

Dear marijnh , thanks for the response. I will revert it to V2.0 and will find out how to update deck.js plugin to V3
