Shift+Enter does not insert a newline even though the UI hint says it should

The input hint says Shift+Enter should insert a new line, but that does not work for me.

When I press Shift+Enter in the composer, nothing happens. The only way I can insert a new line is with Ctrl+J.

This is confusing because the on-screen hint explicitly says Shift+Enter should work.

I tested this in:

• Alacritty
• Ghostty

Expected behavior:

• Shift+Enter inserts a newline in the input box

Actual behavior:

• Shift+Enter does not insert a newline
• Ctrl+J does insert a newline

Environment:

• macOS 15.6.1

• Apple Silicon

• kit installed with:

  go install github.com/mark3labs/kit/cmd/kit@latest

I cannot reproduce. Are you sure your terminal or another app is not intercepting this key combination?
