How to upgrade to the latest release

Hi, have not found a documentation how to perform the update best?

How to check for latest Version of any Integration

HACs does not always notify you about new version's - you must check do this manually!

1. In Home Assistant go to HACS
2. In the list of installed integrations search for 'this' integration (evcc, senec, fordpass, goe... etc)
3. Click on the 3-dot menu on the right side of the the integration list entry
4. Click on Update Information
5. Note now that a new version is available
6. Install the update

Ok, until now i was not using HACS (HA in Docker), so deactivating the Integration, replacing files in custom_components/dir, and restart HA should work too?

yes that should work too - just make sure, that you delete the folder in the custom_components folder to get rid of all old files...
