Describe the improvement

Abandon the use of terms like 'packages', etc., and replace them with a simple term: Applications.

The term 'packages' is not commonly used when it comes to installing software on Windows. It looks foreign and unnecessarily tech-savvy for a typical Joe. People are used to installing applications from 3rd party vendors, sites with application lists etc. Even the mobile world doesn't use the term 'packages' for things existing in the "Google Play" and "Apple Store". The vast majority of the Winget content is, in fact, applications.

Describe how this improvement could help users

The terminology used in the application will match commonly used one across various ecosystems.
