It's a great question and one that's never been brought up, so thanks for asking! When you delete a book in Calibre, it deletes the book's data in the database. When Tome sees that the DB changed, it does a scan, recognizes that it's now gone and "orphans" that book data in Tome. At this time, Tome is built to hide yet preserve that data, presuming that you wanted to get of it. However, I've considered making ways to re-show it. There is a DNF option that I'd encourage you to use within Tome currently. |

Hi! I don't know if this is the place to discuss this, sorry if it's not. I wanted to understand better what happens when something is deleted from Calibre. I currently log my reading in another app, and when I DNF a story or dislike it I usually deleted the file from Calibre and just keep my private log... Is this something I could do in Tome or should I keep the original files in Calibre at all times? Thanks in advance!
