PDF opening is significantly slower after updating from 0.1.11 to 0.2.1

Hi, I noticed a significant performance regression after updating the extension from 0.1.11 to 0.2.1.

Environment

• VS Code: 1.135.0
• Extension version with the issue: 0.2.1
• Previous working version: 0.1.11

Issue

After updating to 0.2.1, opening a PDF file takes more than 20 seconds before the PDF is displayed.

If I downgrade the extension back to 0.1.11, the same PDF opens almost immediately.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install extension version 0.2.1.
2. Open a PDF file in VS Code.
3. Wait more than 20 seconds for the PDF viewer to load.
4. Downgrade the extension to 0.1.11.
5. Open the same PDF file again.
6. The PDF opens immediately.
