Rubrol was built out of pure frustration with headless browser clusters.

Every SaaS company starts by spinning up Puppeteer or Playwright to generate simple PDFs, only to watch Chromium eat 1.5GB of RAM per process, burn AWS Fargate compute budgets, and crash with OOM kills on multi-page invoices.

Rubrol solves this with a native Rust compiler (powered by Typst) running as a stateless sidecar next to your backend services.
