• -smooth now thins vertices along straight/low-curvature runs, giving the whole output more consistent vertex density.
• Improvements to -smooth corner detection, including automatic adjustment of corner-detection sensitivity for geometry that is sparse relative to the smoothing distance, which previously produced spurious corners.
