[FEATURE] error code as change

Right now the only options for errors are to get them every time you check or ignore them completely. I would like to be notified when a site errors for a few hours (for example a power outage) and when it comes back up without all the errors in between.

Requires some development (including saving the error in the database to be able to compare the new one), but I can see the benefits.

the main errors i get are "max retries exceeded" when a site has an outage and 404s when a site is locked for updates. Neither of these are issues with webchanges but they get pretty exhausting when i get a text every hour about them. obviously i could disable error alerts but when these errors happen it usually means something big is about to happen (like a shop closing for a restock)

Thanks; this is helpful. These are two different type of errors (the first is generated by the HTTP client as the website is unresponsive, the second one is a response by the website), so they both need to be captured. I will give it some thought next weekend.

The feature has been released with 3.27, but after living with it for a while made I realized it should be something that you can set at the job level. So it's being released as the suppress_repeated_errors job directive.

Of course, you can default it to True by following the Job defaults documentation.
