🚨 Severity: HIGH
πŸ’‘ Vulnerability: CWE-400 (Uncontrolled Resource Consumption). PreparedStatement and ResultSet instances in PlayerListLogger and WhiteList were not properly closed in finally blocks, potentially causing database cursor leaks and resource exhaustion over time.
🎯 Impact: Could lead to Denial of Service (DoS) due to exhausting all available connections to the database, eventually crashing the server.
πŸ”§ Fix: Wrapped the offending PreparedStatement and ResultSet instantiations in standard Java try-with-resources blocks, which automatically guarantees resource closure.
βœ… Verification: Ran mvn clean test in AtTackCraft-Core and confirmed it builds successfully. Verified by manual review that try-with-resources accurately replaces previous implementations.
