I'm currently hardening pam_usb quite a bit. For one this means: please absolutely stay on the latest version at all times, at least until we reached 1.0.0.
Part of this are many changes, but one of them could be a breaking change for you.
In case there will be any more relevant changes I will mention them here.
In case you actually use pam_usb in combination with XDMCP:
PAM RHOST checking is now enforced. This means even with deny_remote=false pam_usb won't work over XDMCP. This is by design, don't open issues when PAM itself says you're remote.
