New Plugins

  • Extra Versions: Add development versions like combat tests and worldgen experiments to your version list
  • Gen Pkg: Generate single packages or groups of packages from projects on websites like Modrinth and Smithed

New Features

  • Completely reorganized how instances and profiles work. Profiles are now templates for instance configuration, and instances are declared totally separately from profiles. You update instances instead of profiles as well.
  • Added instance groups to substitute for what the grouping feature of profiles used to be
  • Instances will now automatically update on the first launch
  • You can now escape version patterns using backslashes
  • Instances can now have configured display names which will be used in the future
  • You can now use colons in instance IDs to do namespacing for different launchers
  • Added the user add command to easily configure new users
  • Added the instance dir command to print the game directory of an instance
  • Added the config backup command to easily backup your config to copies
  • Added the Unix OS condition for packages to use
  • Added basic functionality to allow plugins to export instances
  • Plugins now have access to the MCVM version
  • Plugins can now disable base64 encoding to improve performance and ease of development at the cost of security
