What information was incorrect, unhelpful, or incomplete?

The submit event fires when:

• the user clicks a submit button,
• the user presses Enter while editing a field (e.g., ) in a form,
• a script calls the form.requestSubmit() method

Doesn't give a complete overview.

What did you expect to see?

As far as I know, point 2 is correct when

1. user presses Enter and there is a single field (with or without a button[type=submit])
2. uses presser Enter and there are more than a field, but there is also a button[type=submit]

Do you have any supporting links, references, or citations?

It's field-tested, I don't know whether it's documented behavior or or just common practice.
Either way, I'd pinpoint it.
