The page linked to for E4X to exist.

Did you test this? If so, how?

I followed the link and it was 404.

I work with a platform that has an embedded version of Rhino. This feature is still available and in use on the platform. I would like this documentation (which I considered to be canonical) to continue to be available on the web if possible.

Sorry that this content has gone missing, @pjbeardsley. MDN is focusing on web platform technologies. E4X hasn't been available to web developers in many years, so this content is no longer maintained by MDN. You may have some luck looking through MDN on the Wayback Machine to find this sort of thing. Thanks for your understanding.
