Common file for practise

  • we practised for 3 weeks on individual files and today we created a common file for practise. @Anushree has written a great help file and @Ankit has been maintaining our wiki. @siddhant is our Overlord

Anomaly versus Outliers(Noise)

  • The separation between anomalies and the noise is not pure
  • Anomalies typically have a much higher outlies score then noise. Still this is not the main distinguishable definition of anomalies and noise.

Weak and Strong Outliers

"It actually depends on the way of thinking or using the data"

The main point to understand is that anomalies need to be unusual in an interesting way. We first need to set variables, plan for dataset, model for identify each point and then we check outlier score
