Chaosmos Project

➡️➡️ The Chaosmos Project ➡️➡️ we spent Fall 2018 understanding mechanisms for participatory, values-based governance and exploring their application in "radical markets". For winter 2019, let's put those learnings into action by applying them to help our community!

I propose a bidirectional learning framework where we partner with an ✨organization with an existing collective governance model (e.g. co-op run community space) ✨ to:

• model their infrastructure for insights into what elements lead to sustainable, organic success
• explore which DAOs are applicable to the partner as alternative funding channels
• educate the partner about how to leverage blockchain to meet their needs

⚡️Through enacting this project, we would get the experience of delving into and modeling:

• existing and emergent participatory governance structures and mechanisms
• the landscape of DAOs and other computational decentralized organizations

• we will create the opportunity to offer direct support to neighboring arts and social impact organizations!
