TriliumNext Web Clipper is a web browser extension which allows the user to create quick notes or to clip text, screenshots, or content from web pages and save them directly to TriliumNext Notes.

Keyboard shortcuts are available for most functions (if properly configured):
- Save selected text:

Ctrl+Shift+E(Mac:Cmd+Shift+E)
To set custom shortcuts, follow the directions for your browser.
Firefox: about:addons > ⚙️ Gear icon at top right > Manage extension shortcuts (The web-clipper extension doesn't yet support shortcuts on Firefox)
Chrome: chrome://extensions/shortcuts
Some parts of the code are based on the Joplin Notes browser extension.
