Mesa Turnip 26.1.3 Vulkan driver for Adreno 650 / SM8250 (Retroid Pocket Flip 2), built as the ETK Stage-IV base driver for tuning aPS3e against GT5P Spec III.

Install (aPS3e)

  • Configuration > Video > Vulkan > Custom Driver > path > navigate to .zip
  • setup wizard
  • Driver manager → import etk-turnip-26.1.3-android.adpkg.zip → select it → restart the core.

Notes

  • Built from mesa-26.1.3 (2026-06-18 via the nihui Android cross-build (-Dvulkan-drivers=freedreno -Dfreedreno-kmds=kgsl -Dplatforms=android, android-stub). Package = stripped libvulkan_freedreno.so + AdrenoTools meta.json.
  • Swapping drivers invalidates the shader pipeline cache — expect a one-time full recompile on first launch.
  • 26.1.3 vs 26.1.2: no a6xx descriptor-hang fix landed; the notable change is concurrent binning now off by default (may affect frame pacing).
  • Experimental tuning artifact for the Emulation Tuning Kit, not a general-purpose driver release.
