PermitReceipt Public Evaluation Slice v2.2.2 — IETF Discussion Artifact

Synthetic source-available evaluation artifact for PermitReceipt-based permit-before-commit authorization of AI-agent and workload external effects.

This patch release improves public-release hygiene for the v2.2.1 evaluation slice. It keeps the artifact synthetic and non-production while improving manifest verification, documentation consistency, evaluation-boundary wording, IETF/IPR status clarity, third-party notice clarity, and clean upload packaging.

Scope

This is a synthetic evaluation artifact only.

It does not process live payments, store PAN/SAD, call live processors, provide production non-bypassability, serve as a certification program, act as an official IETF reference implementation, or grant a patent license.

Demonstrated behaviors

  • deterministic canonicalization;
  • action digest binding;
  • PermitReceipt verification;
  • policy epoch and validity checks;
  • status/recency handling;
  • scope checks;
  • anti-replay handling;
  • fail-closed denial semantics;
  • deterministic public evaluation vectors;
  • one optional provider-neutral agentic-commerce profile.

Changes from v2.2.1

  • Fixed clean-extract manifest verification.
  • Added strict static manifest completeness checking.
  • Aligned Quickstart paths with the released ZIP structure.
  • Replaced placeholder repository links in IETF/Hackathon materials.
  • Clarified individual Internet-Draft status and non-endorsement posture.
  • Clarified IPR disclosure status and no-patent-license repository boundary.
  • Replaced certificate-style wording with synthetic evaluation-attestation wording.
  • Updated third-party notice handling for included Internet-Draft reference snapshots.
  • Removed generated run artifacts, pytest cache, and bytecode from the upload package.
  • Updated provenance materials for reproducible public review.
