As with #46, this is not a meshcore-cli issue

Time can't be set backwards, as your node time is set to 2028 you can't get it back to 2026.

In recent firmwares a feature seems to have been added that sets the time to last update time of your contacts. There also seems to be a corruption (on fs or somewhere else) that sets update time of some contacts to the future ...

The solution is to remove the contacts that are in the future.

For that you can use the apply_to command. With apply_to all contact_lastmod you'll get all the modification times, you can then diagnose and remove the problematic nodes
