Hello! ha-texecom brings a Texecom Premier Elite alarm into Home Assistant. Type in your SmartCom's address and Home Assistant reads your zones and areas from the panel: an alarm to arm and disarm, a sensor for every zone, panel health (mains, battery, tampers), who armed it, and a ready-made dashboard. Install it from HACS (or the Marketplace, from Home Assistant 2026.11). Take the quick tour →
What's proven so far
It has run on Premier Elite 12, 24, 64 and 168 panels, over a SmartCom, a ComIP, a ComWiFi, a Crestron COM port, and a home-made serial bridge. The Tested panels table in the README lists each one, what was tried, and a link to the report. Thank you to everyone who has already shared theirs.
Who I'd love to hear from
How to report
Is it safe to try?
Apart from arming and disarming (only when you press the button, or an automation you set up asks), the only thing it changes on the panel is its clock, and that's an option you can turn off. It never touches the panel's programming. Like every SmartCom client, it uses the SmartCom's one connection, so the Texecom app can't connect while Home Assistant is, and Homebridge or texecom2mqtt need turning off first.
It's unofficial, and not a replacement for your keypads or monitoring.
