Reads the .000 files from MetroSimulator 3 available at sim.bemined.nl.
Currently the package does not save due to some limitations about the format.
These are:
- The occurrence of a
nulbyte under some unknown condition after the file headers.
- This byte is very much needed, as removing it causes the file to be corrupted.
- The occurrence of repeated file hashes just after the headers.
Besides these limitations, the library is able to extract all files stored in the package. Extracted files will use the hash value since the file names are not saved with the package, though you can make educated guesses which each file is. Additionally, the library can load a hashtable to map known hashes to their file names.
To open a file, use MS000.Open, this will give you a MS000File, this object is IDisposable, so make sure to dispose it when you are done with it.
using (MS000File file = new("path/to/file.000"))
{
// Do something with the file
})To pass a hashtable, you can do it in both the constructor, or HashGuess.GuessDictionary to pass a dictionary or hashtable file.
GuessDictionarywill only assign hashes that are correct, hashes that cannot be asserted will be skipped.The hashes should be stored in the format HASH=NAME where hash is a hex formatted hash, and name is the file name you try to assign

If you want to set the file name of one file or pack, use HashGuess.Guess with the file or pack.
