This release focuses on perfecting the user experience across all devices. We have completely refactored the theme initialization logic to eliminate visual glitches during load and overhauled the mobile interface for a cleaner, more compact experience.

📱 Mobile Experience Overhaul

We've addressed significant layout issues on narrow screens to ensure your documentation looks great on mobile.

  • Compact Navigation: The Sidebar and Table of Contents no longer slide off-screen or consume excessive vertical space. They are now collapsed by default into clean, clickable headers.
  • Smooth Toggles: Added a "slide-down" animation for mobile menus. Clicking the menu icon or "On This Page" smoothly expands the content without jarring layout shifts.
  • Content First: Reduced whitespace above the main content area on mobile devices, bringing your documentation into view immediately.

⚡ Visual Improvements

  • Zero-Flash Theming (FOIT Fix): Previously, users with "Dark Mode" enabled might see a split-second flash of the Light theme on initial load. We moved the theme logic to a blocking script in the document <head>.
    • Technical Detail: The theme is now applied to the <html> tag before the browser paints the body, guaranteeing the correct colors immediately.
  • Highlight.js Sync: Syntax highlighting themes now switch instantaneously alongside the main UI theme. Code blocks no longer "flicker" with the wrong colors during a theme toggle.
  • CSS Specificity Standardization: Fixed an issue where base styles were overriding specific Theme styles (like Sky/Ruby) due to selector weight. All themes now use consistent :root[data-theme="..."] selectors to ensure proper cascading.

🛠️ Internal Refactoring

  • Layout Architecture: Optimized the loading order of scripts and stylesheets in layout.ejs to prioritize visual stability.
  • No-Style Consistency: noStyle pages now share the exact same theme initialization logic as the main documentation, ensuring a consistent experience across landing pages and docs.
