Home Assistant integration — what would you actually use?

A Home Assistant integration is on the roadmap (v0.4), but nothing is built yet — so this is the right moment to shape it. Everyday Runtime already exposes the estimates as JSON (GET /s/needs, authenticated): state, need score, confidence, a plain-language reason, and whether an item is already on the list.

Questions for people who run Home Assistant:

• Entities: one sensor per product ("Milk: 89% likely needed"), a single to-do list entity with suggestions, or both?
• Automations: what would you trigger? e.g. a notification when leaving work if something is probably needed, or when a supermarket zone is entered.
• Input: would you want to report "empty" / "still have it" from HA (buttons, NFC tags, voice)?
• Polling vs. push: is polling the JSON endpoint every few minutes fine, or do you need webhooks?

Ideas, objections and "I would never use this because …" are all welcome.
