Torsten v1.0.0-alpha

First major pre-release milestone for Torsten — a 100% compatible Cardano node written in Rust.

Highlights

  • Full preview testnet sync — genesis to tip with pipelined ChainSync
  • Block production — VRF leader check, KES signing, block forging on preview testnet (Sandstone Pool [SAND])
  • N2N server — ChainSync, BlockFetch, KeepAlive, TxSubmission2 serving to downstream peers
  • N2C server — LocalStateQuery (all Shelley queries), LocalTxSubmission, LocalTxMonitor, LocalChainSync
  • cardano-cli compatibility — 38+ subcommands via torsten-cli, compatible with cardano-cli 10.15
  • Mithril snapshot import — fast bootstrap from Mithril snapshots with digest verification
  • Conway governance — DRep/SPO/CC voting, proposal ratification thresholds (CIP-1694)
  • Ledger validation — Phase-1 and Phase-2 transaction validation, UTxO-HD storage
  • Prometheus metrics — blocks, slots, epochs, UTxO count, mempool, peers on port 12798
  • TUI tools — torsten-monitor (dashboard) and torsten-config (configuration editor)
