HW Week 10.2 Data Sketch

Using Data in a Sketch

For this assignment you were to create a sketch using external data from a source such as the NYTimes, Twitter, NOAA, weather, data.gov, census data, etc.

You have two options for how you can get this data into you sketch;

1. Use an API device to deliver the data every time the sketch runs.
2. Download a JSON, CSV, or XML file of the data you wish to use and link to it from your sketch.

The sketch should display something interesting about this data. The goals for this project are for you to;

1. Gain some comfort in finding data
2. Gain comfort in digging through data to find interesting tidbits
3. Gain skill in accessing that data from within a javascript environment.
4. Contemplate how this data can be used artistically or communicated through visualization.
