v4 release soon

I started helping @SkepticMystic get a v4 to release.

I have reviewed the issues queue and assigned myself to what I am looking into.

There are others marked considering that might be nice to add.

I will post a survey to see if we should relase v4 as it currently is or if there are blockers.
