michalszarka/README.md

Hi, I'm Michal

I’m transitioning from airline operations into data analytics and AI-focused roles, building on eight years of operational and customer-facing experience at American Airlines UK. My work centres on turning messy, real-world data into clear insights that support better decisions.

What I work with

  • Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn)
  • SQL
  • R
  • Tableau and data visualisation
  • Feature engineering, EDA, benchmarking, and operational analytics

Current focus

Developing practical analytics projects that combine data, ethics, and operational understanding. I’m especially interested in responsible AI and transparent, value-driven decision-making.

Recent work

  • Completed the LSE & FourthRev Data Analytics Career Accelerator
  • Built a capstone project involving data cleaning, feature engineering, and backtesting
  • Exploring roles that blend analytics, operations, and responsible AI
