Autocompletion in shell mode (Ctrl-b)

Description of the problem or steps to reproduce

At the current moment shell mode does not support auto completion as how it would be possible on the command line. I set some bash variables as shortcuts to get to micro bindings and micro settings file, specifically $microbindings and $microsettings and I can't access these from shell mode. However I am able to start another instance of micro with the above files opened up: $ micro microbindings . Is it possible to include these features in shell mode?

Just to clarify, you want environment variables to be autocompleted? Generally I think shell completion completes path executables for the first argument and files/env vars for the second+ arguments. This should presumably be possible to implement.
