Need for Custom UI to select security mode

Some customers like the current security model that involves storing credentials in a Key Vault Secret. Some find it a burden compared to their needs. Splunk provides a mechanism to create a custom UI for inputing parameters for a Data Input. The add-on needs such a custom UI that would include a checkbox to switch on/off the use of the Key Vault.
