Latest update to v1.42 -> .NET 10 installed: /Users//.dotnet

Azure Storage Explorer throwing below error on App startup.
The authentication library used by Storage Explorer has failed to start properly. Please ensure you have .NET 10 installed. If .NET 10 is already installed then refer to the troubleshooting guide for help. Verbose authentication logging has been enabled.

Actual Experience

Same issue. Dotnet installed via Homebrew. Tried Storage Explorer installed from web, then from Homebrew. Same results.

Exact same issue here (OSX, Sequoia, M1 (arm) chip).
Dotnet v10.0.105 installed on the machine since a while (with homebrew).

Previous version of Storage Explorer was working perfectly.

renders storage explorer useless - I use it quite a lot

Thanks for reporting this. The error occurs because Storage Explorer can't locate your .NET installation at ~/.dotnet. This path wasn't included in our detection logic.

We've merged a fix that adds ~/.dotnet to the list of paths Storage Explorer probes on macOS. Unfortunately, this change didn't make the cutoff for 1.43.0 and will be included in the following release.

In the meantime, you can work around this by installing .NET 10 from the official Microsoft installer (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download), which places it at /usr/local/share/dotnet. This is a path Storage Explorer already detects.
