Description

In the "EDocument Core" app, there is a controladdin called "PDF Viewer". This is used in the "Inbound E-Doc. Factbox".

It would make sense to have this usercontrol in the SystemApp instead.

A generic FactBox page would also be very userful, maybe also a generic page.

Would it be possible to copy this controladdin to the PDF module in SystemApp?
After this have been done, "EDocument Core" can use the SystemApp controladdin instead.

I'll be happy to do the work if this gets accepted.

I'm totally for this improvement in the system app. Such a core element for PDF handling should be part of the system app.

That control should indeed be in the System Application. Let me quickly check if that was just a temporary fix - I seem to recall we've got something cooking when it comes to PDF viewers... 😉

With 26.3 you should see the first version of the new viewer, and with 27 there's a good chance that new control will be available to everyone. I'd say: let's not invest in this right now.
