Description

It would be nice if Business Central provided a built-in HTML Editor Control Add-In, which could be used for editing rich text such as a detailed item description for an online shop, or when composing an email body before sending an invoice via email.

Several open-source editors (such as QuillJS or TinyMCE) are available and could be used as the underlying implementation. Business Central already leverages rich text editing in the Email Editor page and in the marketing text feature, but there is no reusable HTML Editor Control Add-In that partners and developers can use in their own pages without building one from scratch.

Providing a general-purpose HTML Editor Control Add-In in BCApps would allow the community to build richer, more consistent user experiences without duplicating effort.
