Yes, I don't know if there are official releases or versioning for this project? I followed the previous DotNet upgrade PR, but otherwise, I have little context. |

Update to .NET 8.0 (current LTS version)
.NET 6.0 is out of support and can't be installed easily (at least on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS).
