Purpose

  • This pull request improves the deployment documentation by clarifying the required steps when deleting resources with Log Analytics workspace replication enabled. It adds a dedicated guide and a warning to prevent resource group deletion failures.

Documentation updates for Log Analytics workspace deletion:

  • Added a new guide docs/LogAnalyticsReplicationDisable.md detailing how to disable replication before deleting a Log Analytics workspace, including CLI commands and verification steps.
  • Updated docs/DeploymentGuide.md to warn users that if redundancy is enabled, replication must be disabled before running azd down, with a link to the new guide for instructions.

Does this introduce a breaking change?

  • Yes
  • No

Golden Path Validation

  • I have tested the primary workflows (the "golden path") to ensure they function correctly without errors.

Deployment Validation

  • I have validated the deployment process successfully and all services are running as expected with this change.
