GitHub Discussions #2
Description
Thank you for this amazing contribution!
Large Market Models are likely to become increasingly important, and MarS is the first public project I have come across in this space. I wanted to encourage you to enable GitHub Discussions (or support/create another platform) to foster a focused community exchange about Large Market Models.
I am particularly interested in the government and corporate bond markets, where market structures are largely dealer-driven, in contrast to the order-driven markets that MarS seems to focus on. I might be mistaken, and MarS could still be applicable; however, my impression is that the execution of dealer-driven market segments cannot be accurately simulated using a simple rule, due to dealer discretion and the informational asymmetries created by the absence of a transparent central limit order book.
I have a large collection of trade-and-quote data (20MM+ records per year) for 10,000+ USD- and EUR-denominated bonds, and I would be willing to contribute synthetic data to a project that focuses on these aspects.
