[Bug - Edge Addons] <Unable to Enroll in Microsoft Edge Add-ons Developer Program>

Hello,

We are a startup based in Texas developing a browser extension for accessibility applications. We are trying to enroll in the Microsoft Edge Add-ons Developer Program via Partner Center so we can submit our extension for review.

When we attempt to complete enrollment, we receive the following error:
"We don't recognize the program you are trying to enroll in. Check your link and try again."

Account details:

• Account email: info@beimgoods.com
• Account type: Company
• Country/region: United States
• Enrollment URL used: https://partner.microsoft.com/dashboard/registration/edge

We have tried multiple browsers and InPrivate/Incognito mode with the same result.

Could you please advise on how to proceed, or manually link our account to the Microsoft Edge program?

Hi @glxybb could you please provide a video recording of the steps you are taking (starting from the very beginning) until you get this error, also do provide the HAR file as well to help investigate the issue better.

and provide a video recording along with the HAR file to help investigate the issue if you are still getting it.

If you are trying to enroll into the Microsoft Edge Addons Program
Try this:
Go to https://partner.microsoft.com/ -> Click on Partner Center -> Sign in with you MSA account-> Go to Account setting -> Go to Programs -> click on Microsoft Edge (Get started) -> Registration form should open -> fill all required details in the from correctly,

If you still face any error or not able to proceed further (Accept and continue button still greyed out) then please do provide a screen recording of the whole process until you encounter the blocker as well as the HAR file to help us investigate further and unblock you.

A HAR file is a browser network trace that captures all requests and responses during an issue reproduction, helping us identify failing APIs or performance bottlenecks.

Steps to get HAR file (Chrome / Edge)

1: Open Developer Tools
Open the page where issue occurs

Press:
F12 OR
Ctrl + Shift + I

2: Go to Network tab
Click Network

3: Enable recording
Ensure red recording button is ON

Enable:
Preserve log
(Optional) Disable cache

4: Reproduce the issue
Refresh the page
Perform exact steps causing the issue

5: Export HAR file
Right-click anywhere in the request list
Click: “Save all as HAR with content”

6: Share the file
Send the .har file

thank you. we got it working before seeing this.

there are multiple issues with Microsoft software.

1. the captcha animation does not display properly on Edge. we had to switch to Safari.
2. our corp email does not work (not sure if it is related to MSA, perhaps it does not allow Microsoft powered emails)

for now, it is working, we can submit code. I will close this ticket. thank you.
