Unable to remove system tray icon

Description of the new feature / enhancement

No option to remove the system tray icon. I dont want to hide, I want to remove it.

Scenario when this would be used?

I want to de-clutter without hiding. No point in hiding because it still persists in the ^ section of the system tray. If it is not needed I want to remove it from the system tray
