Intellisense showing syntax error for valid Data Warehouse code

• VSCode Version: 1.32.2
• OS Version: Windows 10 Enterprise

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Intellisense is stating that valid "Create Table As" code is syntactically wrong when it is not. Example below.
2. I'm looking for a method to ignore/hide these as a work around if possible

What's happening here? Intellisense is number one priority for an extension like this. Do you plan to ever support the 4-5 different t-sql dialects?

The SqlParser library does not currently have any special support for DW, which means any DW-specific syntax will show as errors. And unfortunately outside of disabling Intellisense completely there isn't any way to hide these errors.

Thanks. Can you say anything about planning to support the different dialects? Synapse dedicated pool, synapse serverless, or the newly announced fabric that introduces two more t-sql dialects. Is there any other microsoft IDE that supports any of them?

ADS, VS Code MSSQL and many of the other tools such as SSMS all use the same Parser, so they will generally all behave the same way. The work to enable this syntax is currently in our backlog, but beyond that I can't give any specifics.

DW does have its own editors that generally support their syntax (such as the one in the PowerBI/Fabric portal) since they have their own implementation.

Gonna bump this, as I believe it's still relevant. SSMS has supported syntax for Dedicated SQL Pool (formerly Data Warehouse) for a long time now so this may be worth some attention. Happy to take a look myself, but I'm guessing this code is more internal to Microsoft.
