Let user extend modules.vhd

kernel modules stored in modules.vhd in C:\ Drive

let user extend it when install new drivers manually
or
let user export all installed drivers from a distro to .vhd

its good for portable using.

Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force
.\collect-wsl-logs.ps1

The script will output the path of the log file once done.

I'm not sure what your use case is exactly. It's extremely unlikely that modules provided by a distro would work with a kernel built for WSL, so just putting them into a vhdx and pointing WSL at it isn't likely to work. Can you elaborate on what you're trying to make work?

my mean is export distro drivers and add them to modules.vhd file

Hi @Morrigan-Ship - the kernel modules that your distro provides are unlikely to work for the WSL kernel. Those distro-provided modules are built with a different toolchain, using a different kernel configuration, against potentially different internal kernel ABIs. You will need to rebuild any modules that you need against the WSL kernel.
