@eerhardt can you help me understand this? I have pushed the updated json, and it no longer repros locally. I can add some temporary logging to this PR if you don't happen to know what the problem is. |

This PR was created before #4441 was merged. On CI it was using the new configuration schema generator code, which strips out the I merged main and fixed up the json file. |

ah! I missed that. thanks Incidentally the config updater task occasionally crashes when I build due to two threads concurrently updating the file. I'll have more of a look when I see it again |
