How do we make updates the the grub settings for Mariner?

I manually created the file with the following template

using the following command:
sudo nano /etc/default/grub

and then pasting the below code.
It is recommended to run grub-update afterwards

We have introduced an early version of grub2-mkconfig for users to try out in the most recent updates for Mariner 2.0. We plan to expand on this support in our upcoming 3.0 development & release.

Additionally, one can always edit the /etc/default/grub file but YMMV when it comes to official support
