Rotate marks and data driven rotation

I would like to create a comet chart:

It is great that i can rotate symbols (it helped with another visual) but I can not use them for the comet chart as they have one anchoring point only:

Would it be possible to add rotation to marks too (where applicable) and make the rotation for both marks and symbols data driven? I now i can use visibility for different rotations on the same chart, but if rotation was data driven I could use only one mark/symbol instead of one per rotation type.
