How to Reproduce

  1. Open VS Code.
  2. Install and enable GitHub Copilot App Modernization extension.
  3. Run the command to sign in to GitHub Copilot.
  4. A browser window opens for GitHub authentication.
  5. After entering GitHub credentials and completing authentication, VS Code does not successfully activate Copilot.
  6. The login process fails / does not complete.

Expected behavior

After authenticating with GitHub credentials in the browser, VS Code should successfully activate GitHub Copilot and enable App Modernization features.

Screenshots & Logs
