Will .NET MAUI be supported in the future?

It would be great to have a React-like approach to mobile development, something similar to React Native. Is this on the roadmap? Also, out of curiosity, what was the reasoning behind not targeting .NET MAUI directly, at least for now?

Currently no plans, I think Maui adopting something (like Lex Li (@lextm)'s comment) would be super cool.

This project, specifically, is about direct native exposure of WinUI with the highest possible performance and direct access to all the functionality of the native platform. Adding things like Window properties, systray, D2D/D3D, etc... a big part of this goal is "native C#, native Windows"... exposing the best of the language-runtime-tool-platform convergence :)
